This is really not the story of us. This is the story of me. Hi, my name is Jason, I am the owner of Wyoming Vapor Company. I want to use this page to tell my story, maybe it will resonate with some of you. This is where we’re coming from. This is what we’re all about. This is who we are, and how we got there.

One night in 2006, I went to bed. As I lay there in the dark, I realized I could hear my breath in my lungs. Every inhale and every exhale came with a wheezing sound. I remember laying there thinking, “It’s probably time to quit smoking before it kills me.”

The next day I bought a box of patches. I managed to go from two packs of Kamel Reds a day to one pack with the patch on. So I bought a box of nicotine gum. The gum failed completely. I found myself chewing a piece of the gum while I smoked a cigarette. So I went to my Doctor and got a prescription for Zyban. Zyban messed with my brain chemistry. It prevented me from dealing with day to day issues and I suffered a near breakdown. Next I tried Chantix. Ask me to tell you the story of my Chantix dream sometime, it is an interesting story. But aside from horrific dreams and constant heartburn, Chantix did nothing for me.

A few months later I read an article from the UK about electronic cigarettes. This was in late 2008. At the time, there were no American sources for an electronic cigarette, so I ordered one from a London based company for $145.00. I also ordered a $75.00 bottle of liquid, it was about 30ml. I quit tobacco the same day it arrived and have been a vaper ever since.

Since then I have been very active in the global vaping community, attending conventions all around the country, I’ve been a part of the forums for years, keeping up with the bleeding edge of the technology. For the last three years I have also been discussing vaping on my weekly webshow on VapeTV. I converted as many people as I could find for the last several years.

In November of 2012, I decided to open a small brick and mortar shop in my hometown of Casper, Wyoming, and see if there was anyone else who wanted to try and quit. I started with my extensive knowledge of the product, gained by the last five years of research and my knowledge of making the liquids, hard won by making my own for personal use over the last three years.

Since then, I have helped thousands of people quit tobacco.
